FoResTTraC Roadmap Document

The objective of FoResTTraC is to develop a scientific roadmap for transatlantic research collaboration in the area of forest ecosystem genomics.

The scientific roadmap highlights suggested research priorities resulting from a series of expert consultations that have taken place since early 2010, with key scientists from Europe and North America. The document is also based on a desk review of existing capacity in forest ecosystem genomics research in Europe and North America (Canada and US).

Before its finalization, the roadmap is made available online as a draft, for comments from the wider scientific community and other stakeholders, including research funding bodies/agencies in both regions (Europe and North America), in order to include different perspectives in the final version of the document.

You need to register to obtain a username and password that will enable to access the draft and leave comments. Please follow the instructions below:

How to edit the Roadmap

To avoid users uploading conflicting versions of the roadmap only one user per time is allowed to edit it. Therefore, to be able to comment the roadmap document, it is necessary to lock it first.

Here is a short summary of the necessary tasks:

1. Click on "Lock and Edit Document"
1.1. Download Roadmap
1.2. Comment Roadmap on you local computer
      (Word 97-2003: Insert -> Comment / Word 2007: Review -> Add Comment)
2. Update Document (will be unlocked automatically)

! Always finish the editing process by either updating the roadmap or by clicking on Cancel!
